Division -PPM setup in Oracle Fusion
A division is a business-oriented subdivision within an oracle fusion enterprise structure .Each division can be enabled to to deliver different product and services or address different markets with same productions and services . We can create division that can operate in one or more countries
Create and manage the organizations that represent lines of business in the enterprise.
Division we can call as a profit center.This as grouping of profit and cost centers. This can be responsible for a share of the company’s existing product lines or for a separate business.
In Oracle fusion PPM we can create division and include this in Project Organization Hierachy.We can create division as a separate segment in chart of accounts structue to represent product lines, brands, or geographies .

Project Unit Organization -PPM setup in Oracle Fusion
Project units are operational units or sub units of an enterprise that conducts business operations using projects. This can be used to enforces consistent project planning, management, analysis, and reporting.
Project units are created to represent different lines of business in an organization . Consulting Services, Sales, and training which is a key PPM setup in Oracle Fusion.
It is mandatory in Oracle fusion PPM tp create at least one project unit
